I recently finished the final book in the Simple Wild series, Forever Wild. These books made me laugh, cry, and swoon. I quickly fell in love with Calla and the tough but sweet Jonah. It made me long for a simple life in a rural setting. As the two get to know each other, they form an unexpected bond, and their bickering turns into so much more. Jonah would like nothing more than to take Calla the city girl back where she belongs, and while he’s probably right, Calla wants to prove him wrong. She meets Jonah, one of the bush pilot’s for her father’s company. Life in Alaska is radically different from her life in Toronto, and Calla struggles to adjust. When she finds out her estranged father Wren is sick, Calla flies to Alaska to see him. The series follows Calla, a lost twenty-something living in Toronto. If you haven’t had a chance to read The Simple Wild yet, I highly recommend it! There’s three books in the series: The Simple Wild, Wild At Heart, and Forever Wild.
